Life is not a high way of stars and easy living. Rather it is days filled with life.
And life is not predictable. Life is contradicting and full of surprises. Life is both beautiful and horrifying. It is hard work and pleasure; experiences you’d like to avoid and the most amazing moments. This is the true beauty of life and what makes it exciting.
The small things in life might be the most important to treasure. Things you’ll remember later; A small stone given to you from a little child with a huge innocent smile. A cat. A hand written letter from an old friend. Mums caring phone calls.
An honest and open mind will let you live life to the full. If we treasure the “small things” it will open the doors for us to treasure “bigger things” too. And when we dare to embrace life as it is, and learn to trust God for what is ahead, no matter what, – then we’ve found happiness. Then we’ve found life.
